Office Ergonomic Assessment eOTo (each one teach one) Workshop
Hello Colleague,
NSSOT is hosting an education session on office ergonomics! This interactive workshop will utilize adult educational
principles and interactive hands-on practice simulation to address content topics (including but not limited to):
What we have that they don’t: Why should Occupational Therapists complete office ergonomic assessments? What’s the point? (Primary/Secondary/Tertiary Intervention) 90-90-90: and other principles of physical assessment Skills practice – case studies and practice completing simulated ergonomic assessments at real-world workstations 20-20-20: Behavioural and environmental assessment and intervention (such as lighting/workplace policy/systems considerations) Show me the money!: Height-adjustable workstations- the evidence TMI: How much information is too much? Documentation considerations (including; need to know; consent; workplace privacy concerns; use of person-first and strengths-based language, etc )
This workshop is offered at no cost to NSSOT members, $250 for non-members.
Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
It is anticipated that the workshop will be approximately 90 minutes, dependent on the number of participants.
